Introducing Me & Him
ME and HIM are two characters I came up with a while ago.
ME was originally a whiteboard drawing done by a friend,
and HIM used to go by the name of Xman.
I then started a cartoon strip of them, and I have done many cartoons since.
I will now be posting them on Curious Beasts, so enjoy!

Link
I haven't added to my blog in awhile. I've been thinking of what to write, and today the opportunity arose while looking at a site called Youngzine.
Youngzine is a cool online magazine for kids. It's got tons of great info about interesting stuff. There's a really great article on a new iphone app invented by a 14 year old kid that beat angry birds in most popular game.
So I was reading an article about Wikipedia, and decided to look though the comments. This is not interesting in itself, but mysterious forces must have been at work, because when I was skimming through those comments…
A dinosaur fell through the roof!
No, not really, what I did find was… Because We Can. At first you may think "This is just some stupid shop in Oakland. What a stupid link that was". Well, that's not what it is. Try looking at the blog. You'll probably like it more when you hear that Because We Can had a birthday party and cake for their robot. You've got to admit that's cool. Also, check out the project they did for Wikipedia.
Well, there we go.
Or: I am successful in my mission to further extend my blog.
I should really stop now.
Mm, yep, I agree.

Tunnel
A month ago, we went to Samoa:
adventureworld.com
We had many adventures and tons of fun,
but one of the mightiest adventures was had on the main island, at a place called
Piula cave pool,
where my dad was very brave.

We had many adventures and tons of fun,
but one of the mightiest adventures was had on the main island, at a place called
Piula cave pool,
where my dad was very brave.
Piula is an ice cold pool outside Piula Theological College. It costs 5 tala (about $2.50) to get in and is one of the coolest pools I've ever been to. Here's a picture:
It was sad that you couldn't jump from the highest rock, but the medium rock was still fun. The most amazing thing about the cave (other than its infinite darkness) was what happened when you splashed:
An amazing display of bright blue underwater fireworks. It was quite funny when my mum told me about how when she was a kid, she and her sister had hidden in the darkness on a secret rock ledge, and freaked people out. And sometimes when a couple came along for a little romantic smooching, Mum and her sister would giggle cheekily. Anyway, back to how my dad was brave. If you swim down the left tunnel of the deep dark cave, and swim along a deep, 3 meter long, underwater tunnel, you come out into a second cave:
(Don't worry, you can walk around to it. You don't have to risk your life swimming the tunnel)
But that's exactly what my Dad did.
We were all very worried when Dad announced:
"I am going to swim the tunnel"
And so he did.
It was scary outside the second cave, just waiting, and waiting, and waiting for him to reappear.
But finally…
All funeral plans were abandoned!
Dad was alive!
Here's what the tunnel was like:
And we were amazed when Dad told us that there was barely any room to swim, and that he had to push himself down, to stop the water pushing him up, so he didn't scrape his back on the rocks above.
And, even though he was brave before,
now he's one of the bravest people I know.
I think he's
Amazing.

MORE THAN ONE USE FOR A NERF GUN
One of the great prezzies of the year:
A small Nerf Gun with a laser targeting mechanism…
I LOVE THESE GAMES!!!
(Oh yeah, and the cat!)
Christmas 2010
On the 25th of December, 2010, it was
CHRISTMAS!!!!
The night before, my family and I had gone to church for Christmas Eve…! Afterwards, we had a great time driving around and gawking at the amazing ways people had hidden their houses under decorations and flashing lights. Then, we got home and went to sleep, really excited and not really getting to sleep that quickly. But we were quite tired, so we didn't have too much trouble...
AND IT WAS CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!
WHEN MY SISTER AND I WOKE UP:
Santa had been very generous this year. Here are some of the things I got in my stocking:
- A cool blue pen
- Another cool pen (A highlighter this time)
- A simple model jet
- A parachute toy
- A harmonica
Then we went downstairs...
And saw...
a table.
Then we walked to the living room and saw something more interesting...
MMMMMMMMMMM…
CURIOUS…
LOOK:
Before breakfast we each opened one present:
ME AND MY SISTER: felt foxes
MUM: toy whale
DAD: cat puppets
Then we had some delicious pancakes for breakfast
and…
WENT BACK TO THE TREE TO OPEN ALL THE PREZZIES!!!!
Then we (not in exact order) :
PLAYED, went to the beach, ate yummy food, PLAYED, played with christmas prezzies and read christmas books for the afternoon, ate more yummy food, then…
slept.
